Hi Rob- The question – “What do you like to do”, is that looking for emotive reactions to the clients behaviours without prejudice from them? Whereas people may have a natural prejudice towards their negative behaviours.
The purpose of this question is to shift the focus towards experiences of resourcefulness. When we do something we like, we are resourceful, and it's helpful to influence the experience away from a deficit and towards resourcefulness.
