Thanks Rob! The great thing about this rephrasing is that it not only prompts the client to consider possible solutions, but it also takes the pressure off the therapist to be the all-knowing font of knowledge with a checklist of remedies that match each problem.

Yes, Malcolm. Pressure off therapist ... and client ... so a solution can appear effortlessly and respectfully.
