I worked with this twice today and had 2 interesting results. One was with a young man who feels self-worth and self-confidence are missing. He likes to run as a hobby. He found that running requires HIM—everything is in his control, a 1:1 ratio of what he puts into it to what he gets out of it. He was able to relate that to other areas of his life and how his efforts are what make things work which contributes to his self-worth/confidence.
