I really enjoyed this series and will miss it! Are all of these videos posted in the Erickson Learning Community section to re-visit? I sense there will be something new to take from it with each listen.
Thank you for these videos. I find it very useful with clients. But a lot of practise is needed still. It is important to trust a client that she/he is cabable of finding a solution. That is sometimes difficult when a system has declared someone a lost case. When confronting hard times and stiff opinions outside I can say to myself there are more resources anyone could think. Very many thanks.
Thanks Asta. I'm gld the videos are useful and n be a guide as to what to practice which is the key. Keeping our mood of expectancy and possibility is he foundation of being helpful.
Hi Rob ...(that 'flyer extract' sent prematurely) .. 1st. as I mentioned, the elderly GP who was sending the occasional referrals has retired, so I've decided to set up Creative Counselling ...against massive competition!
The web page is almost ready to go..(along with my self-confidence as
"D day" approaches.) When confidence fades, I re-run your great series of videos ..pausing to jot salient points* along the way .. (asking "what missing" related to my confidence lapses as well..)*(Have considered having those points arranged as "auto-cues"behind client's head ...haha.)
Bottom line Rob ? Without your learning programs and your shared knowledge, I doubt I'd have had the confidence to start Creative Counselling. Let's hope it does produce some "good work" ...
Thank you Rob, I took a great deal away from exploring the ways in which you work. It is all really so straightforward and simple at its essence and easy to appreciate the beauty of it all. I look forward to taking what I've learned and playing and exploring the intricacies even deeper. Thank you again for your generosity in sharing all of this with us.
Thomas, towards the end of his life Erickson said that he had been doing this work for more than 50 years and was just beginning to get the hang of it, so it looks like there's no hurry for us to form our own individual style of helping people to resolve their suffering in their own unique style.

Ah, I spotted all the videos in the News section. Great!
Is that also where the ebook on this series is?
Lain, you can find the eBooks here https://robmcneilly.simplero.com/resources
